Paeonia

In Paeonia, the lines of a digital drawing are etched into oxidised copper using inverse etching. The fine line structures contrast with the lively, weathered surface of the copper. Beneath them, the smooth, glossy areas of coloured epoxy create a striking contrast with the natural patina of the metal.
