Wonders of Life

This work is drawn entirely digitally using vectors in Adobe Illustrator, without photographic image manipulation or filters.

The digital image is photographically produced as a Lambda print. The image is exposed onto light-sensitive photographic material using laser light and subsequently developed photographically. This high-end technique provides exceptional clarity, colour depth and sharpness. The work is finished behind Diasec® or anti-reflective TrueLife Museum Glass.

Wonders of Life is a key work connecting the Making Worlds and Bottom Line series. It is the final work in Making Worlds. Unlike the earlier drawings, several natural elements in Wonders of Life were drawn in 3D. The vectors derived from these 3D drawings subsequently became the starting point for the following series, Bottom Line.
