On the track, he’s always number one, despite his short legs. He speaks 5 different languages: English, Dutch, Chines, Siberian, and machine language. If Okapi, the pet of the Family Li, barks twice, Kymani will do everything in his power to rescue him. He’s not afraid of Grizz-Li bears at all, because of his sixth and seventh send. Gna gna.
With part of the proceeds from Kymani's artworks and products, Heart-World supports the charity Conservation Through Poverty Alleviation, International. They save forests by fighting protein deficiency. Investing displaced farmers in building up a green border around the Makira Protected Area. By planting the endemic host trees of multiple species of silk moths, farmers are able to produce wild silk cocoons and a high value protein by-product. While insect protein is new for westerners, insects are eaten throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, and silk moths are common. This initiative could be broadly adapted to enhance nutrition, alleviate poverty and protect forests throughout Africa.
