Assignment AFC Ajax Friend.Li Klaas Jan Huntelaar

Hart was commissioned by AFC Ajax to draw Friend.Li Klaas Jan Huntelaar, which was offered to members in an edition of 150 artworks in the Ajax Annual Report.

Sotheby's auctioned the original in the Olympic Stadium, with Hart donating 100% to safe play areas of the Cruyff Foundation.  

Anyone can become a friend of the Fam.Li by having their portrait painted. The people portrayed receive the status of Friend.Li and receive their portrait for the wall and become part of the Fam.Li World.. Friend.Li's choose a charity of their choice and with part of the proceeds Heart-World supports a charity linked to their Friend.Li Character.

The imaginary Fam.Li consists of a father, mother, 19 children and a pet and symbolizes the many children without a family. Each character has their own specific cause they stand for.
