Reality, 2019, simulates the electromagnetic spectrum, time, light and space when the sun is exactly perpendicular to the equator. The QR code shows animal species that see differently than the human eye.

Petra Hart (1972) visualizes various natural phenomena in her work, such as sunlight during the day or the biological rhythm of organisms. With this she wants to create awareness about the inventive power of nature. In recent years she has conducted research into light, time and space. She asked questions such as: is the universe an illusion, what is real or imaginary and are there different time frames? Hart works with computer programs and light to shape her concepts.
The four light sculptures show a 24-hour color gradient that is animated by computer-programmed LED lights. The shape varies from rectangle to square and symbolizes the infinity of rays of light.
