Petra painted this photo live with her photo camera during the art fair BIG ART 2020 and was created by applying an intervention to her light artwork Glowing edges which consists of very narrow colored light circles.
 

Light is an illusion. An apparent reality or an incorrect idea of 'reality'. We humans see the world in a certain way, while almost at the same time another animal sees the world very differently. During the art fair, Petra painted live with her camera in the light circles of her artwork Glowing edges. A series of 28 works of art was created. Except that some RGB photos have been converted to negative or CMY (as the concept is intended), all photos from the entire series have been photographed at once and not further edited. The work is part of the art series Glowing edges. More information
